Default Coel. Massangeana?

have anyone grow this orchid know if this is an actual species or hybrid? A facebook user from nearby city is selling it on marketplace and I am very tempted to get it at 50 Dollar, but I'm unsure if it can handle my dry house. hm...

I do think it is a species. Currently accepted name is Coel tomentosa. It should be able to grow outside where you live - it is a relatively high elevation species. And considering the size of the plant, outside would be a good place for it.

ok thank you, for the clarification. The lady said she actually have a lot of old orchid collection she want to pass to another. I will report back my haul this Sunday!

I confirm it's a species.
I have one growing in temps between 30 and 10°C (summer - winter extremes). It's indoors, in a closed balcony. Especially in summer, humidity is really low during day time, something around 20-15%, and it doesn't matter much as it's always growing and blooming.
