Default Coelogyne rochussenii new growth

This new growth appeared, and at first I thought it was a new root because it was a pinkish-grey color! But now I see itís growing UP and is definitely a new growth ☺️ Super ecstatic because when I bought it at a local orchid show, the new growth was completely buried in sphag moss and when I did the repot, it was too rotted, but turned from white to green and now some black is setting in.. should I cut it away?
I posted a thread, previously but for some reason turned out blank! The previous post was going to ask if it would have new growth lol
