Hi,

has anyone here the Cattleya amethistoglossa and it ever had created seed pods?

There are many hybrids with C. amethystoglossa as a parent, so yes, it does produce seed pods.

I have also seen it produce seed pods from apparent self-pollination.

Thanks. I know that it produces seed pods. I am trying to find persons who have seeds of that species. :-)
