I'd recommend those who grow rupis to get one of these (as well as a kautski which shares the same habitat, therefore the same conditions).

I'm sorry if you've already stated your conditions before but what specific requirements do these rupicolous Laelias have?

neophyte, don't want to disregard you but I would sugest you to read this thread. There's a large amount of info about it.
Anyway, Estación seca posted this link at the beginning:

My temps are not so high in winter and my environment is much drier, that's why I water it every two days (they don't have pbulbs so they don't have mechanisms to store water).

Here it is...all blooms have opened:

Here's a photo of the location where I grow it:

South window - filtered sun during middle autumn until middle spring for most of the day. Measured with my phone it has an avg o 3800~900 fc for at least 5 hrs/day.
In summer, there's no direct sun but really bright indirect light.
Basically, standard Cattleya light requirements.

Temps:

Winter: 22~24ºC max / 15ºC min
Summer: 28ºC max / 18ºC min

Water: every two days min / every 4 days max (let it dry between waterings)

HR: Low most of the year (in summer reaches <20% with occasional 15%). Artificially increased with an humidifier only at night up to 60%.

Medium: bark+coco chips+LEKA

To sumarize, same culture as I use for my Catts.
