In LECA and a little shpagnum, pseudo bulbs grew thicker and rounded. A year ago I divided it in two, part I mounted it on a wooden branch (it did not bloom but grows well, the pseudo bulbs are smaller and elongated). You see the other side in the image exposed by me. I know it has changed in Cattleya but for me Laelia remains.

I saw in OW and its lower temps are consistently cool during the year which is a problem for me. Otherwise it could be a good buy.
What are your min temps in summer?

It is not a pretentious plant, I keep it in the terrarium because in winter I have humidity 0. I grow it as much as any Cattleya. I don't think you'll have any problems with it.
