Walked out to my greenhouse last night and was greeted by this guy over in the corner. Only one flower fully open and a few more starting to open, but the fragrance covered the whole greenhouse. There are at least 8 spikes on this one and I have another one in bud, so I'll get to enjoy the fragrance in the evenings for the next little while.

I bought it in the spring of 2016 as a NBS but ended up dividing it in half shortly after I got it so it would fit on a mount better. It bloomed for this first time last Jan and this is it's second blooming. Here is a better photo of the plant.

That's very cool. I bought a flask of brassoepidendrums (magnoliae x nodosa) and I was wondering about a realistic time frame for them to flower. I hear they can become blooming size pretty young, but I also have not given them the most ideal care.
