The rot & dry looking sheath seems to be the first.
Usually there's 3 flowers per sheath so, if everything goes ok, I'll have 12 flowers.

Nice! Looking forward to your photos when they bloom!

Update on this one...first bloom is now opening.
All the sheaths were ripped without "human intervention" so I will have 10 flowers this season.
Never had so many.

This flower has a beautiful mango color with a lip that ranges between orange and red.

My records tell me that new roots and growths are almost starting, around late March/April so it will be a good time to repot.
As this plant is almost out of control (size and roots) I would like some sugestions regarding what to do about it when repoting.

Closer photo are always useful...this plant is the crawling type, two rhizomes with 3 pbulbs each (plus some smaller and older from earlier growth stages).

I would suggest a basket, preferably wood. Before potting, soak the roots well to make them flexible, drop the plant into the basket and twist so that the roots wind around the inside of the basket. New ones will tend to attach to the wood, so that they stay under control.
