Sue, my plant is ready to bloom now. The flowers are deep orange, too. If the weather is fine enough, i can see them in full bloom next week.

Hi pheli

Have you had yours bloom yet? Mine took quite some time from the stage of your spikes to actually blooming.

I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures

Sue, I purchased this plant in flowering last year. It took a long time for the buds to grow out of the sheath. The photo showed was taken one week ago and now some blooms have opened ,and hence I suppose they will be in full bloom next week.

Very nice, Sue and with a "special" connection too, Bravo!

I have a simliar cross...much more yellow but the orange in yours is fabulous!

That's lovely!
I picked up a Lc Trick or Treat at the WOC...can't wait to see it bloom!

The C aurantiaca in this thread is a species, not a cross
