Cool, I'll keep checking with people as it grows but hopefully that's the right ID (it seems right in any case). Now I just wonder where she bought it haha

First off, SFLguy, do you take me for a fool?! Because anyone who would complain about that pic showing up anywhere is most certainly a fool! And here's an update on my plant. Of the 3 "spikes" 1 has turned out to be a new growth. Here are a few current pics:

Subrosa, might I have permission to hijack your thread with a picture of my new growths on my Blc Blue Hawaii? I am new to these as I previously had no success blooming them but, since have added lights.

Default Lc. Mini Purple 'Blue Hawaii'

These are? I have it in a south window with T5s. If these are spikes, this would be a big confidence booster for me and Catts.

If I remember correctly, mini purple blooms like most other catts...from the top of the growths. Those are most likely new growths... but that means you could see flowers before too long.

I think Leafmite grows this one. I have never seen a Catt bloom (in person). My minis didn't bloom and were darker green than I read they should be so I gave them away...and they bloomed...I was told I was impatient with them.

I had mini but gave it away and I'm fairly certain it does bloom from the mature growth rather than a separate growth, like walkeriana and nobilior. It's a very distinctive trait for those 2 species.
