Cattleya Dal's Buddy
A beautifully fragrant compact cattleya. The cross is Cattleya Beaufort x Cattlianthe Aussie sunset. This has lots of fragrant species in its parentage and has a spicy, floral, sunscreen like fragrance. The fragrance is very noticeable under intense light, but most of the day you have to stick your nose in the flower to feel it.
This made buds before the growth matured, so I had to cut them out of the plant tissues. Unfortunately I nicked the buds.
Plant size: compact, about eight inches tall. The growth habit is a bit spread out.
Bloom season: various, multiple times per year
Vendor: sunset valley orchids.
