It is one of my favorite version of this species. I got this seedling plant two years ago and it finally bloomed recently. The size of the bloom is smaller than i thought.

A first bloom doesn't show the potential of a species Cattleya. They need 3 years of strong adult growths to really put their best flowering. Currently the shape is ok but the colour is nice. Just hold on to the next couple flowerings! I had one that bloomed like this but on third flowering it was awarded!

Hi,
I am wondering how large your plant is. I have one, but it seems very small in comparison to most of my other Catts. THanks.

My jenmanii is a small plant for a mature species Cattleya of the rather standard bloom type. It is a nice one for people with limited space. The blooms are slightly smaller than some like mossiae, etc, but still a good size.
