Thanks. I can't remember from last year and haven't detected much fragrance this year, a bit this morning. But I am keeping it in a fairly shaded part of the house not near windows just because I have other stuff in the living room near the windows. I think it is scented in the earlier part of the day in good light. Is yours scented, and if so what part of the day?

Thanks. I usually grow the Cattleya types in medium bark. But this came potted in what seemed like mostly perlite. So when it needed a larger pot last year, I used large perlite. It seems happy with that. If I split it, I may put part of it in medium bark or a mix of medium bark and perlite. I would be more comfortable growing it in bark although it has thrived as is.
