I picked this at the Valentine's Day show in spike. It started opening about the first week of the month, and is just now starting to lose the oldest flowers. There are 20 flowers on this baby! It produced a small side spike off the main one. They are faintly fragrant and roughly 2" apiece. Quite a show! (and it's putting out new roots, so very happy with this one!) It's what I'd consider a compact Catt also, it's in a 4" pot. Recommended if you find one! (I got it from Gross's Orchids; it has a Better-Gro tag as many of his did. I've never seen this in a baggie)

First bud to open

Whole plant.

Wow, that's wonderful. I had to look up Ert.: Epiarthron is Caulathron x Epidendrum.

I really like this one. So different.

Checked OrchidWiz and this hybrid was registered in 2015 as Eth. (Tuck.) Hilo Adventure.

Really? It's been since last March that the Lowe's by me had bloomer Catts- since then nothing but Phals, Dens and Oncs. (grumble- have been hoping to pick out a nice bloomer for awhile) This doesn't have a cultivar name on the tag, so I figured it for seed grown- do the ones you've found look like it?

Oh my, you live in a kind of paradise! Look at those gorgeous trees in the distance! This is a gorgeous flower! I am doing an "off the grid" lifestyle in about a year (maybe 2). I have never heard of Ert! (Ert.: Epiarthron is Caulathron x Epidendrum.)
