[QUOTE=brsucculents;769789]Brassavola is an interesting genus. I wish more species were readily available.
After seeing how well my B. perrinii did mounted, I want to mount all my Brassavola. This one is mounted on a piece of Crepe Myrtle from a branch that I cut down. This is a great wood for mounting btw. Last Summer it grew like a weed when I was dunking it in a bucket of fertilizer water every day. This Summer I have all my mounted plants under a shade cloth and a sprinkler on a timer. It doesn't get fertilized very often unfortunately.[COLOR="Silver"]

Many thanks, I'm not familiar with Crepe Myrtle, we certainly do not find that plant here in Africa, so I have mounted mine on hard wood, drift wood. I'll just need to keep an eye on the humidity though, because it is very dry here in Africa and mounted, the plants dry out very quickly.
