Default Jackfowlieara (Iwanagara) Appleblossom

This blooms every May for me. This year it had 8 blooms on the spike which is more than in the past as the plant has finally matured. But sadly as I was lifting it off a top shelf, the ceiling fan blade lopped off the 3 top buds and damaged a fourth. So I only have 4 blooms. It has a nice fragrance too.

Gorgeous! Congratulations! I really love seeing pictures of this one.
I gave mine away for the space and it is one that I often regret not having now. The flowers smell just like my Jonathan apple tree blossoms...very nice.

These are really beautiful!
Do you have a full plant pic?

Damn I miss mine... 28 bulbs, seven growths, and last flowering gave some 55 flowers.
These seem very hard to come by in Europe.

Beautiful, so sad about lopping off 4 blooms. Sounds like something I would do.

It was indeed a monster of a plant.
Succumbed to a major black rot incident while I was on holiday. I managed to save a decent bit, but it never recovered properly in my (then) less than adequate care.
