Cattleya Snow Blind 'Kenny' FCC/AOS
C. Snow Blind 'Kenny' just opened up for me this afternoon. 
I love the intrigue behind this one. Seagrove was awarded the FCC/AOS in March 2008 at Longwood Gardens as a C. walkeriana but it is now believed to have C. loddigesii in its ancestry. I consider it to be my 'fake' walkeriana.

Lovely...my Snow Blind 'Linwood' is just finishing 2 blooms(boo-hoo) and what a fragrance!

After reading about the possible background of this one, I had to get a C. dolosa, another classic hybrid...then some C. Mini Purples. The walkeriana hybrids seem to be a bit of a weakness for me. :| |

I was just curious about how yours looked compared to mine. Are they very similar?
I understand about the camera. Since I went from film to digital, I still can't get the reds right in my sunsets and sunrises. Making it more 'fun,' I need to get a lens that allows for better close shots.

Ours look similar...my overall color is a pale lavender-pink. Have a C. dolosa alba from Oak Hill before they changed hands which hasn't done much yet so hope you post yours when she's out!
