I had a Mayumi - i mean HAD-just tossed it out the door-after all the years i had it-it got a virus -i tested it-because the last 2 new growths it made, just did not look right-and sure enough :(

I thought Manhattan escaped the snow and only got a few inches? I know Long Island got hit hard but thought your snow fall was modest as compared to last year.

Beautiful! I used to have a 'Mayumi' but gave it away a few years back. Good growing.

BTW - the accepted name is now Brassanthe Maikai 'Louise' AM/AOS ...the bowringiana parent had a name change to Guarianthe.
Brassavola x Guarianthe = Brassanthe.
