I bought a division of this plant from a older orchid society member at a sale in the summer. Her stat sheet with this plant said that it was originally registered in the 1930s, which makes it ancient for orchid hybridization. The flowers changed color after first opening significantly, and I'm very happy with the result. They are also somewhat fragrant.

Molly is looking pretty good considering she is actually closing in on 100 years old. The cross registered in 1930 was probably made about 10 years earlier.
