Another one on the mini cattleya bought through our society and first time to flower.
But I think it has a bit of a way to go though ... a couple more years and it should be in it prime. It wasn't given a HCC/AOS for nothing I guess.

Is this really a mini? I have this cross and I thought it was a compact Catt. It's a giant compared to my minis, yet a dwarf compared to my standard Catts. Leaves seem way to big to be mini.

Yours looked like they just opened. I love when they get that golden color with age.

Wish they were fragrant :/
