That type of Vanda coerulea is hard to come by nowadays. Usually, it's the improved strain that is being sold in the markets. Very nice!!!

Hi Bayard, is the lavender cattleya in the front row, with the orlata lip and egg yolk center a C. eldorado flamea?

Yes, it is C. Eldorado 'M. Ito'. First flowering for me. I got it from Cal Orchid labeled as 'Mt. Ito'. It is a mericlone, presumably from Japan.

Hello Bayard, i so your smashing pictures again with so many stunning flowering plants and i noticed the elegant way of staking the pseudobulbs and flowerstems. May i ask what you use for this? Because of the green colour it almost dissapears between the plants! Thnks!
