I've never heard of a digbyana throwing 2 flowers on 1 spike. You definitely need to post pics!!

Spoke with Kyle (owner). The plant in question always throws two flowers, but they are sequential, so that only one is open at a time. According to Kyle (Catt specialist), he has seen a few other digbyanas do this, though it is not common.

On the pics I took, the open flower blocks the view of the second bud. Being alert to the rarity & sequential blooming habit, I will try to get a pic of the buds the next time around.

Your picture looks even more fimbriate than most digbyanas - is that a named clone?
