My mini Catt Slc. Love Castle "Kurenai' AM/AOS x Slc. Seagulls Apricot 'SVO 5 Alarm' from Sunset Valley Orchids just opened a bloom today, only has this one. I believe he was expecting darker flowers than this but I still think it's really pretty, artsy. I got a second one of these as a gift but the one bud it had I saw blasted before I even realized it was there.

This flower only opened today so it's not completely open but I just couldn't wait to share. The picture with the flash shows it much more pink, darker than it actually is but shows the color variation a little more clearly. Doesn't have any fragrance but sweet little thing. The other Catt is another mini 'Elfin Blue' I shared before, gives you idea how small this flower is.

Thanks! I believe you've shared a pic before yes? I can't wait to see even more. The other one of these two while a bud blasted has a bunch of sheaths, I believe. But it's moving slowly.

Yes, I have had one or two of my SVO purchases bloom so far. I think they are all quite young or were when I got them last fall. I have another one with a tiny sheath but am not going to get too excited yet. Don't want to be too disappointed if it doesn't produce a bloom!

Anticipation! Well I hope it does bloom for you. I've got several that seem to be pretty young too I'm curious to see how many may flower this year. I'm so excited to have one flower for me so soon. And actually I just looked at it again and the color is intensifying so it does look more like the picture I took with the flash. At first it was much paler. I'll put more pics up tomorrow, I'm curious to see just how much the color continues to change, intensify.

Thank you. The more I look at this little flower the happier I get, it's such a pretty little thing.
