I have this L. anceps planted in orchiata and it's been outside on my patio in some sun, some shade. We've also been getting a lot of rain and cool weather up until about a week ago. Seemed like it was doing well with new roots and growth, but now it looks like the pseudobulbs are turning dark. They're not soggy, just turning black. Any suggestions? Thanks

Cool temps with lots of rain is a great recipe for rot. You should let this one dry out before giving it more water.

Hi.

I have no outdoors, but I manage indoors. Were I you, but must be your call, I would knock it out and remove all the bad roots and cut the rhizome back to where it is sound, and frow the rest...and the existing media.... in the gar-bhage.

I would also dust the cut margins with cinnamon or fungicide or flowers of sulphur.

I would also let it just sit in low light for a day or so outside any medium so that the edges can begin to heal.
