Laelia tenebrosa 'Étoile' - Orchid Board

Here's one of my best tenebrosa flowers in shape. I always wait for these coper/ocher/chocolate beauties with so wild lips! Two other clones are open, one of them, Laelia tenebrosa 'Iza', is a little darker having flowers as wide as 8" from petal tip to petal tip. I'm posting it tomorrow.

Your tenobrosa has a better shape than the better one I saw in AOSP Expo Verão! (did you went there? - I posted a pic!)
Why didn't you show this one? (I searched for your name in the plants from "SOSA" and don't find it!)

I knew it was just a matter of time 'till tenebrosa season began, and I would be out of my mind. I LOVE this orchid! Thanks Mauro. Keep them coming.

Frederico, yes, this tenebrosa is among the best clones around. I know that Gerson (Biorchids) also has/had - I don't know whether he keeps it or not - another good one, similar to mine in shape and color.
Frederico, I had 25 plants or more in flower this past weekend but, as for shows, I've been avoiding sending plants. Every time I send, they come back infected with thrips. So, I'm tired having to clean them, wait to see if everything is ok before placing in the grh again.

Thrips, argh! You are right, use only 'virtual' shows!

This one looks too nice and full to be L. tenebrosa. It is truly exceptional. If I didn't know better I would consider it a hybrid of L. tenebrosa.
