they are Not a beginners plant, the hard part is to have it form a strong root system, once that is in place they seem to be far easier and tolerant.

I've heard it can be finicky, but I've never had trouble with it. The extra division, was just backbulbs so it died.

It doesn't seem to be particularily picky fr me, but then again I've been growing for a pretty good while so it might just be because I know what I'm doing.

Also. I got mine as a healthy plant with a good root system. So I guess it's important to make sure you get a healthy plant.
