Thanks

Yes, intermedia is one of the parents - the other parent is a hybrid, which I went back a couple of generations only to just find hybrids lol - but, I suspect you are correct

Hehe - cute name - I love lop eared bunnies! A few years ago, several of us would be in chat a lot, and I was often called "Wabbit" - I used that in the thread title as another member also recently posted his Tropical Pointer.

Do you mean the plant growth? It looks just like C intermedia, which is one of the parents.

I lost the tag for this one, and can't remember which cultivar ('Spots' ? 'Cheetah' ?)

Only the one bloom - this spike had two buds, but one died while still fairly small. But, perhaps because it only developed the one flower, it is a bigger flower than this has gotten previously - about 3 1/2" across. Of course, the growth the spike is on is also bigger than any previous ones - pbulb about 5" topped by 5" leaves.

A very flat bloom. It has a faint, sweet, rose-like fragrance. I recall the fragrance being stronger (in the A.M.), but this has been sitting in an out of the way spot since it started opening, as we were having extreme heat, and this normally grows in a west facing window - so, I may just be missing it.

Potted in chc mix in a plastic pot, gets some mid-afternoon sun. It's been a pretty non-demanding plant.

Thanks for looking
Beautiful!!! I love that one
Does the flower turn more sunset tones as it ages?

Thank you!

If I recall correctly - the petals become a soft yellowish color, the spots a bit pinker - sort of magenta.

Yes! I have one, too!

I was surprised by the size of this flower! This bloom is bigger than it had previously. The other bud on this spike whithered early on, so that may have contributed to the surviving bud getting large, as well as the plant becoming more mature, I imagine. This growth that is blooming is also bigger than any previous growth.
