Very pretty, it's a lovely colour and nice shape.

It's proper name now is Guaritonia Why Not 'Because'

We don't usually use 'var' for hybrids.

photo was taken when blooms were in full sun, makes a difference to the colour range.
I thought the plant was moved into the Catt family, I stand corrected.

It is part of the Cattleya family but has a different genus name that just straight Catt. I think it used to be Cattlyatonia or something similar.
