Sunday I bought this beauty. I was specially attracted by the big buds. They a a bit more open today. I can't wait to see how the bloom will be.

I had time to take few pictures when I got home for lunch. It's a shame that my iPad doesn't show the real colors. The real colour is much more purple. I'll try if I can change some settings on the iPad to get the color all right.

Beautiful, aren't they?

Blooms further open, now.
I've been googling for an ID and I've come up with this: Slc. Best Friend 'Cleopatra' (btw, what does the 'S' in Slc stand for?)
Do you think it can be?

That is a great find. The colours are lovely. I believe the "S" In SLC stands for Sophronitis as its a gentetic cross between Sophronitis x Laelia X Cattleya = Sophrolaeliocattleya or Slc. for short. Although I'm not sure this holds true any more as I believe Sophronitis and its hybrids has been changed into Cattleya so this may be just Lc. or Laeliocattleya.

Thank you. That's what I thought the 'S' meant, but I wanted to make sure.
