Whoa! Get that driftwood out of the water asap! You will compromise the the wood!
Driftwood which I use a lot really just needs a short soak. I have a fantastic piece of driftwood that is very large that I want to put 3 different cat divisions on; 3 different colours. Lucky for me I pick up d.wood all the time at the beach a few minutes from my property.

I have this Catt also. Have actually divided it 3 times. I started out growing it S/H but once I started dividing it, potted it up using lava rock. Winter while indoors I grow under lights and ease up slightly on the watering. Late April it goes outside. It gets direct sun early to mid morning and again from 6 pm to dark. Rest of the day is dappled sunlight. I've found it to be an easy grower and blooms a couple times a year also.

Default Question for IcePenguin

You said that you keep your indoors during the winter under lights. I plan to keep my outside during the summer/early fall and will bring it in after that. Does it need much light during the winter time?

Also, you mentioned it blooms couple times a year. Since my bloom already, is next time around early fall?

Thanks
