Bought this a few months ago in spike. Nice color. Has a faint smell of the evening when warm

nice flowers ...
I used to wonder why we didnt see many BC hybrids. If you get to checking them out you soon see how dominant the brassavola flower shape is in all of the crosses. Its a beautiful flower none the less and they do smell good. I kind of think they smell like bathroom tissue myself but thats better than antiseptic soap.

I love the BC's..

The parents are Bc. Richard Mueller x B. nodosa, which makes it three-fourths B. nodosa and one fourth C. milleri. Cattleya milleri is endemic to Brazil but is now either critically endangered or extinct due to the extraction of iron ore and destruction of its habitat.
