Please help with my Cattleya, don't know why leaf is drooping at pseudobulb

The shouldn't be completely air tight, so poking holes to the let leaves out should be good. If there is a viable root system, you really don't even need much of a bag anyway.

Also, if you do a Google Image search for "Cattleya lead," you'll see several good examples of what you want to see and plenty of ones that you want to avoid!

Here are a few examples of Cattleya healthy growths:

#1 - the pseudobulb has swelled right out of the papery sheath of Cattleya labiata seedling

#2 - the leaf and pseudobulb has elongated fully from the fresh green sheath of Cattleya dowiana seedling.

#3 - mature growth and dry sheath tightly adhereing to the pseudobulb of Rhyncholaelia digbyana

I repotted the orchid at the time of the last posts. I trimmed off lots of dead roots and downsized the pot.

I took some pictures today. Does it look like it is improving?

Does that look like a new lead forming in the last two pictures?

New roots and a new lead! Looks like it will survive and bloom one day!

It is a Better Gro baggie orchid from Lowes. The tag says LC. Spring Drumb 'Volcano Queen' Lavender 10/29/09

I found a picture of what a bloom from it should look like. Hopefully, I help it recover and see it bloom

Thank you, I will. Any guess how long until it is recovered and will bloom? I bought it as blooming size, but not sure it was and it certainly had a set back.

If it remains happy I think it could bloom from that new growth. baby that along and it may produce a sheath and spike.
