Does anyone recognize this bloom or the type of Cattleya it is from the leaves and plant?

A hybrid Catt cannot be reliably ID'd by a picture. Label it Gorgeous and enjoy it - it certainly is robust.

Unfortunately it will be difficult to pin down the exact cross; but you can certainly see Blc. Good News 'Hawaii' in its cross. Also look at the leaves and short compact pseudobulbs, it almost reminds me of a cattletonia. Its really lovely. I can also see Laelia Purpurata and cattleya mossiae in it.

Thank you, that is helpful. I was trying to figure out the type of cross it is. I haven't seen one with the shorted leaves and compact, full habit before this one

Thanks, I lucked out. It was a tight bud when I purchased it. I took a risk and was happy I did when the bud opened
