C. Thumballina (sincorana x loddigesii) Male
Default C. Thumballina (sincorana x loddigesii)
A primary hybrid of Laelia (now Cattleya) sincorana x Cattleya loddigesii. Bulb and leaf 25 cm tall, flower 9 cm in diameter. This hybrid was registered by Pendleton in 1991, although I think that my plant is a remake. Couldn't find any picture of Thumballina in the net, so here it goes.

I've been thinking of trying one of those laelias, never had one before. Seems like they'd be very satisfying.
