Default C. bicolor brasiliensis

In comparison to the size of the gangly plant, the flowers are small....but beautiful and very fragrant. Thanks for looking.

Steve, I'm not really familiar with what peloric means. I know that when a phal is peloric it looks like very different from a regular phal...but I'm not sure on this one...

Oh, sorry. Peloric petals show characteristics of the lip. The frilly, pink edges of the petals look like they might be peloric, but the angle of the picture makes it look as though the petals might just be colored pink on the edges. Sorry for the confusion!

Good explanation, thankyou. Here is a face on picture of one of the flowers.

They're wonderful, Brenda. Does this species always flower for you at this time of year?

Thank you Steve. As I remember it flowered this time last year. The plant was not in great shape when I got it in Nov 2010...the leaves and pbulbs still do not look great to me but it has flowered the past 2 years in a row. Don't know much about this species...maybe the plants always look long, skinny & awkward.
