I decide to get both..... I cannot live without either at this point!!! I blame you for that especially after the link you replied with I now have to have it!!!!!! I will buy the H&R plant this week and the Chadwick orchid week after next!! This is gonna be fun!!

That would be something to try! I have never tried to make my own hybrid before.. I wouldn't even know how to start! Other than pollination of course but which plant gets the other plants pollen what makes you choose which flower gets the pollen?? Does it matter which way you do it?

The pod parent would be the larger plant. Producing a seed pod is pretty strenuous, so a larger plant will have a better go at it because it has more resources to spend.

I tried calling then today to place my order with HR but I just got the busy signal so I sent them an email with my info and the plant code number and the plant name and hopefully they call me today so I can give them my card number and have this beautiful plant in my collection

I called from my house phone and it went through I have placed my order and it will be shipped next week in bud and sheath !!!!!!

Ok both plants have been purchased they will be here next week and you can bet you buckle there will be pictures!!!!

Then in two weeks I'm getting my hands on a C. Nancy Off 'Linwood' 7.5 inch flowers and 89 points awarded to the plant. The grower said if you want the best white cattleya this is the one to get!! What's awesome about this flower is that even though it's huge it has excellent shape!! And it's cheaper than buying a C. Bob betts
