Sophronitis sp. with a different flowering season than Cattleya maxima highland form? Male
Default Sophronitis sp. with a different flowering season than Cattleya maxima highland form?

Hello,

I would like to ask you which Sophronitis sp. flowers in a different season from Cattleya maxima ''Highland Form'' when grown in the same area. If you dont know that but do have a Sophronitis sp. or a Cattleya maxima ''Highland Form",please post which months it flowers for you(grown outside preferably, rather than inside or in a greenhouse but any info helps!).

Thank you very much in advance!

Thanks for the bump Sonya!

I learnt that Cattleya maxima flowers in October(mid Fall) in my climate. Is there any Sophronitis that flowers months after like spring or summer?

Thank you very much in advance!

I have a Sophronitis cernua that blooms late Summer early Fall here in South Florida. Mine is mounted on cork and gets West late sun with bright light the rest of the time.
