Sorry to bump an old dead topic, but I love this Cattleya and wondered...is it an annual bloomer? Or a twice-a-year bloomer (when mature)

Mine usually blooms once a year, in somewhere between late August and mid-September, but it did bloom once in March as well. However, I grow it outside so it gets chilly winters which may push it to put all its energy into one good bloom during the warm summer. Greenhouse-grown, it is likely to be a good bit happier, and with more of its needs met more of the year, I'm not surprised that it blooms more than once a year for people with more ideal environments.

My Crispin Rosales blooms once a year in the late summer to early fall.
