Cattleya NOID (Potinara free spirit?) Male
Default Cattleya NOID (Potinara free spirit?)

Back in february I bought 3 Cattleyas, all were in bad shape, almost rootless (potted in sphag and overwatered). Since then they recovered beyond my expectations, and finally one of them flowered!!
I've got another one with an empty sheath . But I.m still hoping buds will develop at one point.

Thank you all! From what I've experienced, Catts are the fastest to recover from root rot.

Very nice job of growing. Your plants look extremely healthy and happy. Posted below is a Pot. Free Spirit 'Carmela' that I have in my collection. The flowers on my plant is mid-sized, about 3 inches across. Even though yours may not compare exactly in shape, size and color, it might still be a Pot. Free Spirit but of a different variety. In any case, whatever the name, your flowers are beautiful.
