Looks like most of the color of tenebrosa with improved form imparted from the rex....very interesting indeed

Very pretty! I've always wanted a L. tenebrosa but for some reason I've never seem to run across them. Good growing.

Love the colors! Reminds me of Encyclia tampensis, much more dramatic though.

Thanks for the comments. The tenebrosa really dominates here. Tucker, tenebrosa is pretty easy to come by. Put it on your list for the Ft. Lauderdale show next year. There's bound to be a few there. Warning, these are large plants (but that's part of their charm - in bloom they can take your breath away).

Great observation, Gage. I love an orchid with good petal/lip contrast. Come to think of it, that tampensis would be a good hybrid match with this Catt.
