Mine is still blooming! Sepals faded about two weeks ago, but petals and lip look just fine.

Lips on mine went first. started going black round the edges then the petals collapsed.

When my Cattleya just opened (December, 13th) my 3 y.o. son knocked it over and broke the spike. My husband put a splint on it and saved the flowers. I did not expect they would last so long!

December 28 th

Yesterday lips looked just fine.

Just beautiful. I think my apartment heating system killed off my flowers from this species. They only lasted a few days for me. Congrats!!!
