Tricho-The leaf size including pseudo bulb on the blooming portion is 8 1/2 ".Sorry you will have to covert that.I'm not sure of your exact question.It does spread so I just keep it in a basket hanging high in my greenhouse during the cool months.I grow it intermediate as far as temperature is concerned.Often you will find the new pseudos come up with a sheath that will turn brown .If I see buds have formed I cut the sheath in half to prevent the buds from rotting.This sheath formed last year but then nothing-turned brown as the buds started forming in late Spring so I again cut this sheath in half & then the buds pushed up.Hope this answers any questions.
