LC Summer Belle 'Miss Liberty'
Talking LC Summer Belle 'Miss Liberty'

Hi everyone!

My dad is a Huge collector of orchids and has asked me if i could search the net to try and find....

A Cattleya : Summer Belle or Miss Liberty

He said a company called Stewart's stocked it years ago but went bust.

Does anyone know where or how i could get hold of it??

If you can help me get hold of it you will be helping a son get an orchid. mad. dad a Great christmas present!

Welcome to the orchid board, I have one given to me by an old collector, but I have no idea where you can get one. I am waiting to see the bloom, I've heard its beautiful. Good Luck.

Ryan,
This cross originated from Stewart Orchids in 1986 and this cultivar was awarded an HCC in June 1993 with 75 points.
It is almost 70% C.warscewiczii and a stunning plant!
"Sepals and petals white with red darts at apices; lip red-lavender with canary yellow eyes; flatness and substance good for breeding; diamond dust texture over the flowers."
It takes high light (3500-4000 candles), intermediate temperature (Day 85F/Night 60F), and prefers a humidity in the 50-60% range.

I do not have one...but would love one! If you are successful, please let us know if your "source" has more
