Default Epidendrum schomburgkii & Epidendrum pitanga

Epidendrum schomburgkii is a known reed-stemmed terrestrial that gives a huge ball of orange flowers. The plant can be really tall when in bloom (easily 2 meters high).
Epidendrum pitanga is a relative, a new species recently described, found in Bahia, Brazil. The plant is shorter (about 40-50 cm high) than Epid. schomburgkii, the flower color is a little different and the lip structure also different.

Both really nice. Interesting to see them side by side, the other difference I notice is the way the schomburgkii has more of a ball of flowers, while the pitanga had the flowers scattered more in with the foliage.

Really beautiful flowers on both though.
