Default Cattleya intermedia var. alba and var. albescens

Variety alba is well-known. Less known is the albescens variety which flowers are very, very light pink, giving the impression it is an alba. If you put the var. albescens and the var. alba together (last photo) the differences can be seen.

Very lovely, both of them. My favorite Catt. species.

Gorgeous. So great to see them next to each other, as it really does show up the difference.

Thanks Mauro.
