Default Cattleya mossiae semi-alba first bloom

I bought this plant a few years ago as a relatively small seedling. It's been a vigorous grower, and this year it's flowering for the first time. Great fragrance, and the shape looks pretty decent too.

Really beautiful! Nice to see what mine will (hopefully) look like next year. It arrived last month via eBay, with one fat bud; the bloom opened deformed, and because of the stress of repotting, I cut it off so that the plant can focus its energy on root growth. Hurts to do that, even though it's the right thing to do.

Very nice Steve! Is this the clone from H&R? I have that one and yours looks a lot like it, but without the slug holes in the petals!!! lol

Steve, I'm not sure where it originated. The tag simply said it was a semi-alba.
