Iwanagara Apple Blossom Noid
Hi Everyone,
Here is a picture of my Iwanagara Apple Blossom Noid. I bought it last year at the Sunshine Flea Market in Lake Wales, Florida. I paid $15 for it as a overgrown untagged specimen in a 6 inch plastic pot. I divided it, I kept half and gave the other half to my grandmother. The lighter colored bloom in these pictures is over a week old, the other two blooms were in the last couple days. It has two more spikes/sheaths that should bloom soon. It has a perfume like fragrance during the morning time, it is a really great plant. Enjoy everyone.

 great job Amanda! Mine bloomed last year and wasn't fragrant at all! When it bloomed again this year (3 spikes - 32 flowers) once it again, it wasn't fragrant :-(
In talking to Sue  , she mentioned that I should move it where the plant gets more sun and sure enough, the scent it produced almost knocked me over!  Thank you Missy Sue  |

I don't understand the "Noid" in your name, can you explain why you have that there?

Noid is No ID. I bought this plant without a tag so I am not exactly sure which clone of Iwanagara Apple Blossom it is.

That confused me also. I think that, if you know it is Iwanagara Apple Blossom, it is not an NOID. It isn't necessary to know the clone for identification. Please correct me if I'm wrong!

It doesn't matter what Apple Blossom it is, the point is you know what you have so it is NOT a NOID, the clone names are given by growers if they think they have something different to the original, that's it in a nut shell.

I agree, the NoID confused me. Not all hybrids have a clone name anyway so if you don't know one it doesn't matter.
