Default Leptotes bicolor update

OK everyone she's finally starting to bloom. Wished they would all at once, but they're so many.

Check them out & I hope you enjoy them

Oh wow, looks like it would be an amazing show if they all bloomed at once, we'll just imagine it instead. How long do the blooms last? And congrats!

Liz, that is one awesome orchid. Such a delicate bloom and would be a great show if they bloomed at once...

Cool!! I've been curious about Leptotes as of late. Looks like something I might enjoy.

Just wanted to say "THANKS" for all the words of encouragement from everyone. That's what I like about this place.

esungirl the flowers last about a week for me. I've seen them bloom for a month (I think maybe they were different flowers) in the greenhouse.

Note to DJ - There are several varities out there. Mine is 'Jun'. There is also a 4N which the flower stands more upright, opens wider and has a darker lip. A very very pretty plant, if I had the room I would have gotten that one as well. But at least you have a general idea.

To all excuse my lack of orchid savy should 4N be 4n?

I'll post more pics as the flowers open.

I've had one of these for years and never got a single flower, I can't imagine why that is. I did have a bud once though.........;-)

I have now mounted it and although it's going backwards I'm hopefully of better results. Otherwise I will just give up on this species.

Anyway yours is lovely, a nice example of how to flower them and I have some envy.

I saw orchid hobbyists and vendors use both 4N and 4n....
