This C. labiata semi-alba has been blooming for about a month. This photo was taken a few weeks ago

Thanks, Jan. However, aside from knowing which ones look good and how to grow them, I don't really know much about their history and ancestry.

I'm not an expert on taxonomy but I know quite a bit about culture, breeding, growing of walkeriana, violacea, aclandiae, nobilior, purpurata, dowiana and many other cats. 35 years of growing large batches provides some experience. And I've recently started growing more batches of what I'm told are very good jenmanii.

well, don't worry but I have to quote the I have the strong felling that many people that grow large quantities of Catt's even if they don't seek info beside good culture and flower aesthetics, they have more intuitive knowledge about phylogenetic relationships than many "experts" have...
