Indeed there are websites that has variations of the spelling ..... some people seriously did write names in whichever way they wanted ------ which is ridiculous haha.

It was listed as Ctt (C.) Porcia 'Cannizaro' when it was awarded (that's the only time there is an actual record of a cultivar name) so it may be bad Italian, but that's the version in the record books. It isn't the first (or last) time that a misspelled name gets cast in concrete.
