awesome lip! - Blc. Keowee 'Newberry' HCC/AOS
Blc. Keowee 'Newberry' HCC/AOS really suprised me when it opened I was expecting small flowers when I ordered it last year, but it is around 5 inch across. And wow the lip ! Just one bloom for me.

That's real nice, the way the petals are all uniform in color give a real nice contrast to that humongous lip.

Fren,
I got mine from clouds a few years back, fell head over heels with it. Its just one of those orchids you remember, the crazy lip and the wonderful scent. They can bloom more then once per year.
Beautiful bloom!

That is one of my favorite spotted lip cattleyas. I've got the Keowee 'Mendenhall' as well and I want the 'Galaxy' too. I think that's the 3 Keowees that I've seen so far.
